LodgeDesk is a property management CRM platform operated by LodgeDesk (lodgedesk.io). We provide hotel and lodge management software to hospitality businesses across Africa. If you have any questions about this policy, contact us at support@lodgedesk.io.
We collect the following types of data:
**Account data** — Your name, email address and password when you sign up.
**Hotel data** — Hotel name, address, phone number and other details you enter in Settings.
**Guest data** — Names, email addresses, phone numbers and reservation details of your hotel guests. This data belongs to your hotel and is stored on your behalf.
**Usage data** — How you use LodgeDesk, pages visited and actions taken. We use this to improve the product.
**Payment data** — We do not process or store payment card information.

Every hotel on LodgeDesk operates in a completely isolated data environment. We use row-level security (RLS) on every database table, meaning no hotel can ever access another hotel's data.
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Our database is self-hosted on a dedicated server with firewall protection and regular backups.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If your trial expires and you do not upgrade, your data is retained for 30 days before deletion. You can request a full export of your data at any time from Settings > Export Data.
LodgeDesk uses the following third party services:
**Supabase** — Database and authentication.
**Resend** — Transactional email delivery.
**Cloudflare** — DNS and tunnel services for secure infrastructure access.
